New Year, New Me

Ruskin Place Paintings

Here we are, 10 days into this 2016th year. So far, I’ve seen my mom set out to impact the world in an incredible way; I became a vegan, and I saw my aunt have the first healthy, baby boy my family has ever had. I’m impressed.

I don’t really know how to describe 2015. Every descriptor I can think of contradicts another one. It was so very stressful, but rewarding, and difficult, crazy-busy, life changing…the list of adjectives goes on. It lead me to today, however, and for that, I am grateful.

I’m in a phase of intense infatuation with the world and life, right now. I’m just blown away with how everything works together in God’s timing and for our good. Nothing is permanent. EVERYTHING shall pass, even if it feels like it will go on forever. I’m learning that seasons of life wax and wane and that I really don’t have much control over anything. My life doesn’t belong to me. I find that SUPER exciting and terrifying all at the same time.

Empathetic

Full of life

Generous

Happy

Interested in others

Joyful

Kind

Loving

Muscial

Noble

Optimistic

Selfless

Thankful

Uplifting

Vibrant

Wild (just a little bit 😉 )

Xenodochial (friendly to strangers–I had to use Google)

Yogistic (of or relating to yoga)

Zealous

No resolutions. No unattainable goals. Just a vow to be myself, love others, and live life to the fullest.

Happy 2016, beautiful people. I know God will bless you abundantly this year and always.
